Antique glass - toddy lifter English c1830
Small toddy lifter with slice cut flutes and facet cut rim neck ring English c1830.
Condition: Very good condition.
Rim: 7 cm.
Base: 3.5 cm.
Note: A toddy lifter is a hollow vessel used when transferring punch from a bowl to a glass. The bulbous end was dipped into the punch-bowl until the object filled, when a thumb closed the opposite end until the punch was released into the glass. This example is particularly small and neat.
