A large rummer with a cylinder bowl, plain stem and foot. Engraved for the Golden Jubilee god George III. Inscribed Jubilee Oct 25th 1809, 50 Year, GRIII. On the reverse a monogram JAH
Condition: Very good with no chips, cracks or evidence of restoration.
Note: George III came to the throne in October 1760, therefore, we can assume these glasses were engraved to celebrate the start of the jubilee year.
