Rare Lynn beaker with four concentric rings English c1760.
Bowl dia: 7.3 cm.
Foot dia: 6 cm.
Condition: Very good with no chips, cracks or evidence of restoration. The foot is quite crudly formed.
Note: The essential feature of Lynn glass is the shallow horizontal concentric rings in the body of the vessel. This is the only beaker with Lynn rings I have been able to locate. Jelly glasses with Lynn rings are known, albeit quite rare, however, the shape and feel of this glass suggests it is a drinking glass rather than a jelly glass.
