Lynn glassware is characterised by two or more shallow ribbed concentric rings. Such glass was attributed to King’s Lynn by Albert Hartshorne in 1897, however, there is no evidence of any glass house producing glassware in King’s Lynn at the time. A possible explanation is that there was a warehouse owned by a King’s Lynn glass house. Francis Buckley in Old English Glass (1923) suggest such glass may have been made in Great Yarmouth.
